The Hiace, a byword for working vehicles, continues to enjoy unwavering popularity in the custom scene. In recent years, its value as a “playable base vehicle” has been re-evaluated, driven by the rising trend toward outdoor and adventure lifestyles. The wheel brand DELTA FORCE
, offering a unique perspective, has reimagined the Hiace by infusing it with motorsport essence—transforming it into a style that stands out both in the city and in nature.

Motorsports have always been a treasure trove of customization ideas, and the demo car created by DELTA FORCE is a symbolic example of this. The first thing that catches the eye is the red, orange, and yellow stripe decals running along the sides of the body.

As many know, this combination represents the signature colors of Toyota’s motorsports division, TRD (Toyota Racing Development). Long-time fans may recall the legendary driver Ivan “Ironman” Stewart, who made a name for himself in off-road racing during the 1980s.

Said to be created by designer Rollin “Molly” Sanders, the color scheme represents red for passion and strength, orange for determination and cheerfulness, and yellow for optimism and the desert. Since then, these colors have become a traditional motif symbolizing the TRD spirit.

By placing these TRD-colored stripes on the white Hiace body, the vehicle is transformed—shedding its image as a mere commercial van and taking on a sporty and classic vibe.

Naturally, the front end features a genuine TRD GR front spoiler, and the blacked-out grille further accentuates its sharp look. The roof is equipped with a Front Runner roof rack and a DARCHE awning, making it well-suited for outdoor use.

The wheels are DELTA FORCE OVAL (7J×16 +38 6H P.C.D.139.7), paired with YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR X-AT G016 tires (215/65R16). The concave-shaped matte black wheels enhance the vehicle’s overall volume and stance.

Additionally, a yellow center cap (not for sale), which echoes the stripe colors, brings the design together with a sense of unity. This Hiace, refined by DELTA FORCE, masterfully incorporates a motorsport image to create a “real adventure style.” It’s a build that would look perfectly at home as a pit car at an off-road race.
